After a long wait, players of Microsoft’s FPS will be able to discover a multiplayer mode for the game’s campaign.

The co-op mode of the campaignHalo Infinite will have been long overdue, but players rejoice: it won’t be long! The last report dated from last March, but this time it’s the right one, 343 Industries is preparing for the arrival of the long-awaited mode and taking the opportunity to integrate an exclusive feature.

Everything will be offered in beta very soon with a first test period from July 11 to 22. This opportunity will be offered to players holding the campaign part ofHalo Infinite and Xbox Game Pass subscribers. To do so, we explain the procedure to follow.

Co-op? Nah but Halo what!

To be able to embark on the adventure Halo Infinite in good company, you must register as a Halo Insider via the platform Halo Waypoint and download the app Xbox Insider on your console or PC. Once done, you will be able to download the new version of the campaign at the start of the test period.

The operation of the beta will be a little particular, and it is important to clarify a few points before you make the decision to tackle it. For this test, Microsoft will download another version of the single player mode to participants, which means that it will resume the campaign from the beginning. Progress will carry over to the classic campaign, but any progress made during the beta will not carry over to the final version of co-op mode: so be careful with your data.

the crossplay will of course be available for you to join your friends playing on Xbox One, Series X or S and even PC. The final release date of the mode is still not known, but it is not very far since the test period should concretize this project on which 343 Industries has been blocking for several months already. The goal would be to make the co-op available to everyone next August. Case to follow.
