(Ottawa) The President of the European Commission, Ursula von der Leyen, will be in Ottawa next week. She will deliver a speech in front of the Canadian Parliament.

The European leader will visit Canada as part of a trip that will then take her to the United States. She will deliver a joint address to Parliament with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau on March 7.

Before delivering this speech, she will have visited the military base in Kingston, from where many Canadian soldiers left for Poland to support humanitarian efforts for Ukrainian refugees, reads a press release from the Commission. European.
