Two little nuggets are waiting for you on the Epic Games Store, don’t forget to pick them up.

Like every week, Epic Games offers you two games on its store. This Thursday, January 26, indie titles become free for a few days. The first is Goodbye, a first-person narrative game with disturbing gameplay. You play as a hog farmer in Kansas who happens to be a collaborator with the local mob.

Your pigs are used to devour the bodies of victims – innocent or otherwise – and you’ve decided enough is enough. Sticking to this decision is the hardest part, especially when faced with a vindictive and powerful mafia. With its cinematic style, Goodbye is a real nugget of reflection.

The second title is Hell is Othersa name inspired by the famous quote by Jean-Paul Startre “Hell is other people“. In this top-down, pixel-art rogue-lite survival shooter, you play as a lonely man whose sole purpose is to tend to a plant. Only problem, she needs blood to live and must therefore face the dangers and the gloomy streets of Century City to find it. Like any PvP game, the enemies you face look like you and are actually other players, just like you.

As a reminder, you have until Thursday, February 2 at 5 p.m. to claim them and add them to your library. To redeem them, all you have to do is create an account on the Epic Games Store, log in and add them during their free period.

A cult game is coming next week

From February 2, you will also be able to pick up an iconic video game that will be good to add to your library. It is Dishonored: Death of the Outsiders, developed by the French studio Arkane Lyon. A spin-off from the mainline franchise, the game is an addictive and incredibly well-made standalone.

At the same time, you can get your hands on a tycoon management game dubbed City of Gangsters. As the name suggests, you need to hone your criminal skills in order to set up a lucrative albeit not very legal business. Once the machine is launched, you should reap the profits with a vengeance.
