here are the best French games of 2022

The French video game industry is at its peak. There are many blue white red studios designing video game nuggets, whether independent or big budget. As every year, it is during the Pegasus ceremony that these studios and video games are rewarded. In 2023, the event returns for a 4th edition at the Théâtre de la Cigale in Paris.

As always, the evening will be presented by Salomé Lagresle and will welcome several influential personalities in the world of video games, culture and new technologies. 17 different categories will be rewarded, but 19 Pegasus will be distributed. Everything will happen next Thursday, March 9 from 8 p.m. face-to-face and live broadcast.

What are the named games?

The organization reveals the list of nominees, among which we find names that we know well. Many of the games present have indeed punctuated our year 2022 proving that the influence of the French game is no longer to be proven.

A growing audience

Last year, the Pegasus ceremony brought together more than 165,000 live spectators in addition to the several hundred gathered on site. Among those interested, many industry workers, but also players from all walks of life. The games that won the most awards were Road 96 and death loopwhose developers we caught up with for exclusive interviews.

With the boom in live music and the rising popularity of the ceremony, it is likely that the Academy of Video Game Arts and Techniques will explode the counters in 2023. If you wish to attend, tickets will go on sale from next January 30. Places being very limited, we advise you to put a reminder in order to get as many as you want.
