Nancy Pelosi tests positive for COVID-19

(Washington) Speaker of the House of Representatives and Washington’s most powerful woman Nancy Pelosi, 82, has tested positive for COVID-19, her spokesperson announced Thursday.

“After testing negative this week, Ms.me Pelosi tested positive for COVID-19,” tweeted Drew Hammill, adding that she was asymptomatic.

Nancy Pelosi stood alongside near-octogenarian President Joe Biden at an event at the White House on Wednesday. The Democratic leader recently received his 4and dose of COVID-19 vaccine.

Two ministers from Joe Biden’s cabinet and several elected officials also tested positive recently after attending a gala dinner in the US capital.
