Perfect Milwaukee, Lakers and Golden State defeated

Twelve games were scheduled for the night in the NBA, and they notably allowed Milwaukee to continue their perfect start to the season. Brooklyn also won, while Golden State, the Lakers and Philadelphia suffered another loss.

What a start to the season for Milwaukee! Never before had the Bucks signed eight wins to start a season. It is now done! Giannis Antetokounmpo (26pts, 13rbds, 11pds) and his men won 102-115 Friday in Minnesota and therefore beat the franchise record. The Wisconsin players led from start to finish in this game (except for the second minute) and were never worried by the Wolves, despite Anthony Edwards’ 24 points and Karl-Anthony Towns’ 22. Rudy Gobert (7pts, 13rbds) attempted his second 3-point shot of the season… but didn’t even hit the circle. Still in the East, Brooklyn, deprived of its leader Kyrie Irving, suspended at least five games for having promoted an anti-Semitic film, did not seem disturbed, and went to impose itself largely in Washington, on the score of 86-128 by signing a big second half (59-29). Kevin Durant came very close to the triple-double (28pts, 9rbds, 11pds).

The Warriors and Lakers are not making it

If things are going better for Brooklyn, this is not the case for the defending champion, Golden State, who suffered their fifth straight loss on the road, on the side of New Orleans. The Pelicans, led by Brandon Ingram at 26 and CJ McCollum and Larry Nance Jr at 20, won 114-105. The Warriors, who were back-to-back and had rested Stephen Curry, Klay Thompson, Andrew Wiggins and Draymond Green, still led in the middle of the third quarter, but cracked at the end (20pts for Jordan Poole in total) . The return home, Sunday against Sacramento, should do the greatest good for Golden State, now 12th in the West. It’s still two ranks better than the Lakers, who suffered their sixth defeat in eight games, at home against Utah, still surprising (116-130). The Jazz of Lauri Markkanen (27pts, 13rbds) and Jordan Clarkson (20pts) led from the quarter of an hour until the end. The 26 points from Russell Westbrook, the 22 from Anthony Davis and a LeBron James in almost triple-double (17pts, 10rbds, 8pds) were not enough for the Californians, who were not in the game in defense.
