Upcoming games are in the spotlight on Valve’s platform with a festival centered around demos and developer presentations.
If you don’t know what to play this summer, Steam may have a few surprises in store for you and your future crush. Announced last March, the Valve festival finally arrives in a few days. the Steam Neo Fest marks its comeback next June 13 to celebrate the platform’s future games. It will then be possible to dive into hundreds of demos until June 20 for 7 days of discoveries of all kinds.
The Steam Neo Fest is above all a golden opportunity for developers. They can present their projects and attract the attention of players in anticipation of the release of their games. In return, we have the chance to try a whole host of titles, completely free of charge. Everyone wins with this eventand that is its charm.
A summer full of announcements
Like the usual summer conferences for the video game industry, the Steam Neo Fest will offer its share of live broadcasts to meet the developers working on the featured games. And content, there will be. With several hundred demo versions, in other words, 7 days will not be enough to test everything. It will be necessary to make a selection, but the complete list is not yet available and will be published very soon.
In the meantime, Valve has us booked a short trailer of the event with a selection of games that promises to pique the attention of gamers around the world. Nine Sols, LEGO Brick Tales, Cult of the Lamb and so many others will be waiting for you next Monday on Steam. As a reminder, the demos will only be available for the duration of the event before disappearing permanently. If a game catches your eye, then you will have to jump at the chance or you will miss your opportunity to test it. And if ever this festival does not quench your thirst for novelties, know that the Summer Game Fest awaits you tomorrow.
