(Windsor) Stellantis North America announced on Monday the appointment of Jason Stoicevich to head the automaker’s Canadian operations, effective immediately.
Mr. Stoicevich replaces David Buckingham, who until now led the Canadian operations, but who announced his retirement at the end of May.
Stellantis is the manufacturer behind the Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge, Ram, Alfa Romeo and Fiat brands.
Mr. Stoicevich will report to Mark Stewart, chief operating officer for Stellantis in North America.
Stellantis announced plans last year to spend $3.6 billion at its Windsor and Brampton, Ont., assembly facilities and automotive research and development center.
Additionally, the company has launched a joint venture with LG Energy Solutions for a battery plant in Windsor.
