AdminWhile the sequel to the adventures of Cal Kestis is long overdue, our colleagues from IGN share new and absolutely stunning gameplay.
Last week, we learned of the postponement of Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, the long-awaited sequel to the episode. Fallen Order. Originally, the title was to join PlayStation 5, Xbox Series and PC on March 17. Since the development teams intend to satisfy players with this new adventure in a very distant galaxy, Respawn has made the wise decision to postpone the release date. Fortunately, it is only a matter of weeks when the game is pushed back a little over a month to April 28, 2023.
“To ensure the team can meet Respawn’s quality standards, give them the time they need, and achieve the level of polish our fans deserve, we’ve added six crucial weeks to our release schedule.”explained the studio in a press release shared on the networks. The final touches are therefore being made to the title which still benefits from it to advertise. Via a gameplay video shared by our colleagues at IGN, Jedi: Survivor show your guts through 9 minutes of exploration and battle.
The most beautiful Star Wars games
Whether Jedi: Fallen Order had already surprised fans in its time, as much to say that this sequel promises a hell of a slap. The all-audience souls-like from Respawn proves the omnipotence of next-gen platforms with breathtaking visuals. The just-revealed gameplay transports us to the planet Kobo, an early-game area where Cal and BD-1 crash-landed. We then discover different enemies, whether human, humanoid, droid or strange creatures of the local fauna.
The protagonist wields both sabers with ease, whether separated or combined into a Darth Maul-style destructive weapon. The fights promise to be once again filled with challenges while it is necessary to handle the art of parry and the use of force to perfection. The exploration is made all the more immersive thanks to the decorations that one would think straight from a film or a series. If this title manages to do better than its predecessor, we will have the most beautiful and impressive Star Wars games ever developed. The verdict will be given very soon when Jedi: Survivor will debut on April 28.
