In partnership with publisher Dotemu and Nickelodeon, the game Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder’s Revenge launched Thursday on all platforms. In a very pixelated retro style but with modern mechanics and an online multiplayer mode that can bring together six people, we personify one of the four unlikely turtles slaying the bad guys who have taken New York by storm. The punch combinations are complex and the results fun in this remake which can be completed in less than three hours.

At the corner of Roy and Saint-Denis streets, you can admire one of the four murals, here that of Robin, painted on buildings in Montreal for the launch of the game Gotham Knights.

If you have passed by the intersection of Roy and Saint-Denis or Cartier and Marie-Anne streets, you have no doubt noticed the superb murals of characters from the Batman universe. This initiative is an original promotional campaign by the studio Warner Bros. Games Montreal for its game expected on October 25, Gotham Knights, where we can embody four characters, Batgirl, Nightwing, Red Hood and Robin. Everyone was treated to their own mural, painted by well-known local artists from the Montreal scene. “With our characters overlooking the city in this way, we have the impression that they watch over Montreal in the same way that they watch over Gotham City”, summarizes in a press release Patrick Redding, creative director of the game. Insteon’s business picked up recently thanks to a group of “passionate users” buying up the assets.

Last April’s shutdown without warning of the servers of Insteon, an American manufacturer of home automation products that declared bankruptcy, had an unexpected conclusion. A small group describing themselves as “passionate Insteon users” acquired the assets and revived the business. Our two bulbs and five Insteon modules came back to life, but not the control by the Google Assistant and Alexa, which is “in the process of integration”. This resurrection has a price: it will now be necessary to take out a subscription, of US$39.95 per year or US$69.95 for two years, for cloud computing services. It is this income that the many manufacturers of home automation devices that have closed for two years have been lacking.
