AdminBandai Namco hits hard by sharing the gameplay video of its fighter Marshall Law. What changes are to be expected with the new generation?
The world of fighting games will soon be turned upside down by several important releases. tekken 8 is one of them, and the title of Bandai Namco is revealed more through a new trailer. This one presents us the specificities of gameplay of the challenger named Marshall Lawmuch to the delight of fans.
Historical fighter, Marshall Law is a character present since the beginning of the franchise. Over the years, it has undergone changes both in terms of its appearance but also in its attacks which have adapted to new generations. This is once again the case here, with a decor that is more than innovative but also shots that hurt.
In the trailer, we see the physical evolution of the fighter between Tekken 7 And tekken 8. The character keeps his style largely inspired by Bruce Lee, but he sports a more urban look and an even more prominent musculature. The challenger is imposing, and does not hold back his blows. During these few seconds, we can also see two different combat arenas, some of which are destructible and can change the game environment.
He therefore joins the ranks of the 9 challengers confirmed by the studio. Among them are Jin Kazama, Jun Kazama, Kazuya Mishima, King II, Lars Alexandersson, Nina Williams and Paul Phoenix. Only Jack-8 is part of the unreleased generation of playable characters, at least for now.
Still no release date?
For the moment, Bandai Namco has still not revealed the release date of the title. A release window extends from the end of 2023 to the year 2024, but more details have yet to reach us to be sure. The publisher should participate in E3 2023 and could therefore give more details on the gameplay of the other playable characters and on the next availability of the title on consoles and PC. However, we know that the game will be released on PS5 and Xbox Series X / S.
On its website, the studio states that tekken 8 will benefit from the new generation for its increased performance in terms of fluidity and visual prowess. So far, the game’s graphics and art direction haven’t given us any bad surprises, so lifelong fans shouldn’t be disappointed. In another register, street fighter 6 from Capcom is expected for the month of June while Mortal Kombat 12 should also see the light of day this year.
