(Québec) L’avenir d’Hydro-Québec inquiète les partis d’opposition qui affirment qu’un flou demeure quant à la stratégie de la société d’État dans la foulée des départs de sa présidente-directrice générale, Sophie Brochu, et du chef d’exploitation, Éric Filion.
Hydro-Québec serait « en crise », selon le chef parlementaire de Québec solidaire, Gabriel Nadeau-Dubois. Il juge que les plans du gouvernement sont « improvisés » et « irréalisables ». « Sophie Brochu quitte le navire. Éric Filion quitte le navire. Hydro-Québec est en crise », a-t-il dit à l’Assemblée nationale, mercredi.
M. Nadeau-Dubois a réitéré sa demande d’entendre Sophie Brochu en commission parlementaire. La veille, le premier ministre François Legault avait dit que la personne qui témoignera serait celle qui dirigera Hydro-Québec, sans préciser si la commission aurait lieu avant le départ de Mme Brochu en avril.
« Une commission parlementaire sans Sophie Brochu, c’est comme une réunion de la CAQ sans McKinsey, a dénoncé l’élu solidaire à l’Assemblée nationale. Il manque un gros morceau. »
M. Legault a souligné que Mme Brochu avait été « très claire » quand elle a dit en entrevue qu’elle ne partait pas en raison d’un différend stratégique avec le gouvernement. « C’est rendu que le chef de Québec solidaire fait de la compétition avec Éric Duhaime [le chef du Parti conservateur du Québec] to be the champion of conspiracies in Quebec,” quipped the Prime Minister.
