Sony is taking over 4 upcoming games on its PSVR 2 and it all looks more than promising.

In the still niche world of virtual reality, Sony is creating a certain enthusiasm with a new device that is not revolutionary but remains at the cutting edge of technology. His PSVR 2, which has already been revealed through a partial technical sheet and some visuals, has not yet finished talking about him. Today, Sony tells us a little more about the games that will accompany the machine when it is released.

This is Tim Turi, content communications specialist at PlayStation, who describes his experience of use after taking control of a handful of games, which are among the most anticipated by players. This is’Horizon Call of the Mountain, Resident Evil Village, The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution and Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Enhanced Edition.

No simple ports

First of all, he tells us that Horizon Call of the Mountain will not be centered on the character of Aloy unlike the main games of the saga. The spin-off will focus on Ryas, “a disgraced shadow Carja who finds himself left on his own in the wild lands and must learn to defend himself“. The title promises us an experience faithful to the opuses that we already know and love, with an emphasis on immersion.

This will also be the case for Resident Evil Village, which will take all the basics of the original game with even more immersive features. To do this, the PSVR 2 Sense controllers should play their role perfectly thanks to the adaptive triggers and especially the haptic feedback. Features that will also be taken into account in other games as Tim Turi so aptly points out.

PSVR 2 at the Tokyo Game Show and soon in stores

For a real grip, fans of the brand will have no choice but to go to the Tokyo Game Show this week since the machine will be present and usable on site in preview. Sony is showing off the PSVR 2 ahead of its official release next spring. We don’t yet know when exactly, but we do know that around twenty games will be playable as soon as it’s released and that many more will arrive along the way.
