Figment 2: Creed Valley finally reveals its release date on consoles and PC. Will it be one of the best indie games of the year?

This beginning of the year 2023 is loaded with video game releases. We have already discovered Fire Emblem Engage or again Forspokenand in the following weeks players will be able to get their hands on Dead Space, Hogwarts Legacy and Wo Long Fallen Dynasty, among others. Another indie game has just been added to the list, and it’s Figure 2: Creed Valley.

Developed by Bedtime Digital Games, the sequel to the award-winning title is coming soon. No new trailer to get your teeth into, but a release date finally set for March 9 on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch and PC (Steam and Epic Games Store). For those unfamiliar with the Figment universe, it’s time for you to dive into the human mind.

A true personification of the emotions and other states that run through the neurons of your brain, the Spirit is once again plagued by threats coming directly from nightmares. In Figure 2: Creed Valley, you play as Dusty – courage – who goes to the Val des Convictions to repel negative thoughts as best as possible. But to do that, you’ll have to face your greatest fears and not let them overwhelm you.

In this adventure, he will be accompanied by Piper, who embodies optimism, whose presence will be very useful to you. The gameplay of the game is based on puzzles and rhythm games. Each fight represents a musical challenge that will appeal to challenge lovers. We love its colorful and soft graphics, as well as its universe between dream and nightmare.

The good news is that this adventure is open to local cooperation. Thus, you will not be forced to face the dangers of the Spirit alone, but a player can accompany you by taking control of Piper, and this on all available platforms. The game is not yet available for pre-order for its digital edition, but it won’t be long now that we know its release date.
