Three months of Stadia Pro with LG Smart TVs



While many are still wondering about the future of Stadia, Google continues to promote its streaming game platform with partners like LG.

Contrary to persistent rumours, Stadia is still on the attack! The service of cloud gaming from Google is continuing its journey, certainly far from Microsoft’s Xbox Cloud Gaming or even from Nvidia’s GeForce NOW, but the platform remains in contention, particularly in the connected television market. It is thus present in the “video games” hub of Samsung smart TVs, as well as at LG.

Play on TV without downloading anything

The manufacturer has also announced a very interesting promotional operation for its webOS televisions. It offers three months of subscription to Stadia Pro for new subscribers with a Smart TV using webOS 5.0 or more in the 22 countries where the service is available. Including France and a good part of Europe.

The lucky beneficiaries will be able to enjoy instant access to around fifty games. Stadia Pro subscribers regularly benefit from games offered as part of the subscription. They are also entitled to discounts on games sold in the Stadia store as well as on additional content.

The difference between Stadia and other game streaming services is that you have to buy the games from the service store. It includes Cyberpunk 2077, Resident Evil Village, Assassin’s Creed: Valhalla, Hitman 3, Baldur’s Gate 3 and more, with regular promotions for Pro subscribers.

Once connected, the Stadia subscriber can enjoy graphics up to 4K HDR at 60 frames per second, as well as immersive 5.1 surround sound. All without the need to download anything, that’s the magic of cloud gaming ! To take advantage of it, the user of an LG Smart TV must go to the Stadia Pro offer present in the LG Content Store, then scan a QR code with his smartphone to finalize the registration.
