(New York) The New York Stock Exchange ended strong on Wednesday, quickly digesting the rate hike by the US central bank (Federal Reserve, Fed) thanks to the drop in oil and hopes for peace in Ukraine .
The Dow Jones gained 1.55%, the tech-heavy NASDAQ index jumped 3.77% and the broader S&P 500 index gained 2.24%.
