The second wave of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe DLC tracks arrives today. Which ones are planned in the program, and how to take advantage of them?
Earlier this year, Nintendo unveiled the very first DLC for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, one of its bestsellers on Nintendo Switch. The Additional Circuits Pass then gave you access to a first wave of “new” races, remastered from all the old games. Mario Kart. A few months later, the firm reveals the release of the second wave, which brings us a wind of freshness and nostalgia that we did not expect.
Today is when the new tracks join the original game, so here’s what to expect, and how to enjoy it. With these 8 circuits, there will only be 4 waves left to come by the end of 2023, i.e. another 8 cups and 32 races.
8 races on the program, including a new circuit!
Like the previous time, Nintendo adds thanks to this new wave two different cuts, for 8 circuits. We thus find classic games on Wii, DS or even N64 and Game Boy Advance. But the great novelty this time is the presence of a completely new circuit to the delight of fans. No warming up for the Cité Sorbet, players will have the pleasure of testing their car on roads made of sweets like they have never seen.
