It is possible to play Wii and GameCube titles on Xbox Series thanks to a simple and effective method.
A few months ago, Microsoft announced the availability of Windows applications on its Xbox Series X/S consoles. Some now use this feature to run their favorite games from older consoles, but especially from a different manufacturer. Indeed, it is now possible to play Wii and GameCube games directly on your Xbox console thanks to a simple method.
To do this, you must use an emulator, but not just any emulator. It is called Dolphin Emulator and allows you to go back in time by playing titles from your childhood in a very correct way. One of the prerequisites is obviously to have the games in question in ROM or ISO format. You will also need to enable Developer Mode on your machine or you won’t be able to do anything.
How to install Dolphin Emulator?
A user named Modern Vintage Gamer shows us the result on video, the emulator being installed on his Xbox Series S. But that’s not all since the application can also be used on previous generation consoles. On Xbox One, however, you will have a slightly less fluid rendering and below graphically speaking, it is therefore worth favoring the latest generation consoles.
The good thing is that the videographer walks you through the whole process to get your system up and running. Installing Dolphin Emulator is one of the easiest ways to play classic titles on your Xbox. Previously, you could also go through RetroArch, which also takes into account some PlayStation classics, a strong argument.
Note, however, that this new application is in beta version, so you may encounter some inconvenience, even if everything seems to be going well for Modern Vintage Gamer.
