    Keep It Running Longer

Most printer failures aren't sudden โ€” they're the result of small things nobody checked for months. A little routine upkeep goes a long way.

    A Reasonable Maintenance Schedule

Not everything needs weekly attention โ€” here's what actually does.

    Every Print or Two
    • Wipe down the bed surface
    • Check the first layer for adhesion issues
    • Listen for new grinding or clicking noises
    Monthly
    • Check belt tension on X and Y axes
    • Inspect the nozzle for wear or partial clogs
    • Lubricate rails and lead screws if dry
    Every Few Months
    • Check all wiring connections and screw terminals
    • Clean cooling fans and heatsinks
    • Check for firmware updates
